I have many favorites. Lately I've been very interested in Kennedy Half Dollars. I especially like the gold Kennedy half and the reverse proof Kennedy half. My all time favorite though is the Lincoln cent. When I was a kid I inherited a Lincoln cent collection from my grandfather. It contained a 1909 VDB Lincoln cent in about uncirculated condition. I was fascinated by it. I couldn't believe it looked so good for being "so old" and it spurred me on to further collecting and learning. I like that the Lincoln cent ties in with history, and art, and a whole host of other subjects. Lastly I think its an excellent coin because it is accessible to the everyday collector. There are only a few key coins in the set that command high prices. This makes it a great set to start with that won't kill your wallet as a new collector. Thanks for asking!
